June and July, 2011, will initiate major changes in our lives and in our world. You may be thinking, “oh no!” but what you should be thinking is, “oh yay!”. Change is always good yet the transition can be challenging.
Here are some suggestions to harness the beautiful energies of this time in order to create the change that you want in your life and in your world, and to minimize the negativity.
1. Make a list of things that you want to change in your life. A change in career, more secure finances, a new relationship or more love and intimacy in your current relationship, improved health, etc. This time is all about change so get clear and focus on what you want.
2. Make a list of the changes you want to see in your community, government and your world. Refer to #1.
3. Let go of control and get in the flow. The more you fight something the more difficult it will be. Don’t fight change. Go with the flow and allow it to unfold elegantly. Change brings many gifts, insights and all sorts of good stuff. Embrace it and welcome it. You will be glad you did!
4. Take care of yourself. Self care is important right now. Eat well, rest more, move your body. Spend time in nature. Laugh a lot. Be with people you love. Be present. Do what you know to do to stay centered as much as possible. This will allow you to stay present in the moment so you can go with the flow, know what action to take and when, and navigate change with confidence and composure.
5. Remember: nothing changes until you do. For example, if you want more love, compassion or integrity in your life or in the world, be more loving and compassionate, have more integrity. If you want a more accountable and responsible government, be more accountable and responsible in your own life. If you want to be more understood, be more understanding. Get the picture?
Utilize this time of major change to your advantage. Harness it and create what you want for your life and for your world. Stay centered and present so you can navigate anything that comes up unexpectedly. Be open to all of the opportunities that appear. Change is inevitable but it doesn’t have to be difficult. The choice is yours!
