Kids Today!

Posted in Julie's Blog

We hear so much about troubled children in the news. Drugs, violence, bullying ,etc. It’s heartbreaking and scary to think of the future when this is being reported so frequently. People say, “it’s not the same as when I was a child!” No it’s not and with good reason. Let me present a different perspective of our kids today.

For the past couple of decades or so, the children being born are literally a new kind of human. You may have heard of Indigo children and Crystal children and there may be a new name added to the list. The bottom line is this: These children come into this world as highly evolved beings. That may sound odd to you, of course. But pay close attention to a child or young adult. See them through open eyes and not with the eyes of a parent. You will be amazed.

We need to see this generation for who and what they are because it is our job to nurture them. They have unique abilities and heightened senses. We as the parents, teachers and adults in their lives need to understand their uniqueness in order to help them cultivate it. That is our responsibility. If we do our job right, what a wonderful future we will have!

This generation has heightened abilities. They see with more than their eyes, seeing all that happens, the subtleties, whispers and nuances. Knowing what really goes on in their homes, at school and in the world around them.

They feel with more than their hearts. Sensing energies and emotions from others, deepening their compassion. With the sense of sight and feeling they possess, one can call a situation for what it is instantly. You can’t get much past these girls!

Their creativity and imagination is off the charts and they embrace it without fear. Writing, painting, sketching, technology creations that are brilliant. The expressions are delightful, beautiful and full of heart and soul.

This is the new generation. It is important for us to understand them in order to help them become who they are meant to be. Seeing so much can be scary if you don’t understand the context. Feeling so much can be overwhelming and lead to depression and withdrawal. Creating and imagining to this degree can be ridiculed or envied.

See this generation for the beings they are. Help them understand their unique abilities. That’s our job. They are our new world so let’s help them create a beautiful one!
