13 October 2011 Your Greatest Re-InventionHow have things been lately? Have you experienced a few unexpected events? Are you feeling tired of the way things have been and ready for things to be different? Have you realized that you’ve been trying to create something, trying to make something happen for quite some time and it’s just not? Do you wonder how in the world to make things happen anymore? It’s time for you greatest invention… the re-invention of YOU. Since August, things have been oh so very intense. All of this is happing so that we will re-evaluate, re-assess and rethink our lives, ourselves and our preferences. It’s time for a change in course. It could be a slight change or a major change. It’s time for our personal re-invention. The more you embrace this, the easier things will be. Your re-invention could mean a new way of approaching your career/business, relationships, health, finances, attitude or any other aspect of your life. Perhaps your reinvention journey results in a validation that some things really are working well. In any event, take this time and allow for the re-invention. Here’s how: Think of an area of your life that you are ready to change. Where do you feel stuck or constantly frustrated? What area has been affected by an unexpected change and now you aren’t sure how to proceed? You get the idea. You may want to do this in several areas but for now start with one. Next, let it go. Completely. Yep, let it all go. Don’t think about how its been, how it could/should be. Detach from it. Keep your mind clear from this area and allow for the revelation. Spend this time in nature, taking baths, meditate, pray, do what you to that allows you to unplug. It’s only temporary so don’t stress about it. It will be there when you return. Unplug entirely so the new direction or new idea can come in. Let go so you can be completely open and not have resistance. You have to clear out the noise in order to hear. Trust in the process. Here are some other things that can help: get out a note pad and jot down words, thoughts, ideas about this area. Don’t be attached to what you write or if any of it makes sense. Just let it flow. Talk out ideas or concepts with friends. There is magic in the telling and you can gain more clarity. Again, don’t be attached to feedback or outcome of the conversations. It’s all about staying in the flow of allowing the insight to come. Do this and you will discover something new. It may be something you never thought you would do. It may lead to releasing an old belief so things can finally move. A new attitude or perspective may result. Whatever the case, if you do this, you can guarantee that change will happen and you will be happy with the results. Use this time for the opportunities that it offers. Re-invent an aspect of yourself and your life. It may take a little courage but aren’t you ready for things to be different? Nothing changes until you do. So, open yourself to your greatest re-invention…. YOU.
